We are coming up on one year in our wonderful home, and I wanted to let you know how happy we are here - I recommend Prestige and Town & Country homes to everyone I talk to about building. Of course, there are a couple of things I wanted to let you know about! I was painting over the weekend and noticed a drywall spot that should probably be fixed, as well as some cracks in the trim in some places. We also had one of the transition strips come up, and there was some bubbling in the laminate floor last summer. That seemed to correct itself in the fall after the humidity dropped, but it will need to be fixed if i pops up again this summer! The outdoor faucet on one side of the house does not seem to be working - it was fine last year, but I tried to turn it on a few days ago and no water came out... not sure what would be causing that? Last of all, we never did come up with a solution for the window seat that was supposed to be in the living room - any thoughts on that?
Other than those little things, we are absolutely loving it here! Even some of my tougher to please older relatives couldn't find anything to criticize with the workmanship in this house. We have had people in to do various things (water softener, chimney, etc) and guys who seem to know what they're talking about always comment on the quality of the building, the good insulation in the attic, the walls being plumb, strong, and solid...I'm sure you've heard all of this before :)
I would build with you again in a heartbeat!

In a letter sent to Prestige Homes
Subject: One year check up
I wanted to take a minute to compliment Prestige on their retailer, Town and Country Homes. Specifically, the construction crew that performed the one year check up on our home last month.
The crew fixed all the issues that occur with the normal settling of the house over the year. In addition, their keen eye found a few issues that weren't done when the initial installation occurred. They worked quickly and efficiently. In fact, they may have left the house cleaner then when they arrived.
Thank you so much, we continue to be happy with the product purchased from you.

To whom it may concern;
(We) recently purchased a home from Charlene MacQuarrie at Town & Country Homes. We are coming up to our 1 year move in anniversary date & we are still smiling & happy.
We sought to find an easy, painless way to get a home without all the on site hassles & management time & we found that at Town & Country. Our employment status left us with little time to build or manage all the details of construction & the "prefab" option allowed us to live & work as usual & simply wait for the delivery. Let's face it; I'd rather have my home built inside then outside.
We shopped around to three different suppliers & eventually chose Town & Country to build our house. Still today we feel we made the right choice, when we talk to owners of competitors homes it only reinforces our decision as being the right one. We are due for our 1 year deficiency check & there are only "minor" issues to be dealt with that Town & Country is eager to take care of.
I think the key to happiness is communication. The home buyer & the home provider need to be clear about what they want & what they expect to get. Working with Charlene was easy. When we had questions beyond
Charlene she made it possible to talk to the designers & engineers at the factory. We could visit the factory during construction; we could visit the showrooms again & again. We could call Charlene anytime, we could ask the same questions again & again, we could change our mind on certain thing i.e.: shingle colour, during the building. Whatever you do, don't hesitate to talk. The simple effort of talking ensured that we received what we expected to receive & it allowed Town & Country to deliver a complete home without any issues. When it arrived, it was what it should be.
(We) provide products in our business' & we don't want any issues so we end up losing money. It's our job to communicate to avoid that. Charlene & Town & Country, in our opinion, work the same way.

Dear Friends;
I want to thank you for the gifts that Randy brought to Bob & I. We were so amazed we couldn't believe it- we sure didn't expect anything. We were so pleased that Prestige Homes would do something like that. I have to say that they are a great company and if anyone ever wants to know anything about our Home, I will tell them they are the best people to deal with, they come and fix any problem we have.
So all I can say is we are very thankful and grateful, so wishing all of you a great New Year.

Dear Charlene,
First of all I would like to say it was not an easy task we took on. Building a new home from 5000 km away. We want to Thank You so much for the great job you did. (We had a lot of faith in you as we were living in BC.) The results are beyond what we had pictured, we love it.
Also I must say everyone in town wants a tour of the beautiful Prestige Home on the hill. I was nervous at times wondering colours and the flow of everything in the house. And I trusted you to pull it all together for us and you certainly did. It was so smooth and the package deal is the way to go. Everything from dealing with the foundation and landscaping to putting our home here on site.
What a job you did. I could go on and on but I will stop for now and I wish you and yours well. Drop in for tea sometime.
